Popular Culture

This book features the winner of the ‘Space Available’ competition, Brian Viveros, as well as many new artists, photographers and writers we were introduced to during the cover contest.

Space Available

This book compiles essays and interviews with influential artists, journalists, photographers, filmmakers, and writers. We also offered the cover of our next book to the winner of a juried competition.

The Streets

This published project concentrates on pioneers of the creative frontier. These innovative artisans don’t follow trends, they create trends.

Thick Lines

Impact, sway, control, hold, power, domination, guidance, direction… This project analyzes the influences that inspire us and the boundaries that limit us as artists.

Influential States

We narrowed our attention toward individuals with imaginative concepts. This collection follows the artists that not only fly in their dreams but also fly when awake.

Neighbors

We decided to let artists interview artists, allow photographers to talk with photographers, and give writers the opportunity to question writers. We found these creative circles to be much smaller than we realize.

Three Thursdays – A new web series created by Kevin Staniec. Episodes will be released weekly, exclusively on KevinStaniec.com.

Three Thursdays is a funny little documentary about mediocrity and failure. In the summer of 2002, Keith Wilson, a liquor store clerk with big dreams and a bigger mouth, talked three music venues into staging three concerts. He convinced five up-and-coming bands to perform on three consecutive Thursdays. This is Keith’s story. These are his three Thursdays.

Episode Four / The First Thursday

The doors open to an underwhelming crowd but the show must go on. “You have honey in your voice… and I love it.”

Episode Three / The First Thursday

Keith, JB and the bands prepare for their first show in Orange County. “Now if you’ll notice on stage there’s a lot of wires and stuff… those lead to actual instruments they’re playing.”

Episode Two / Wednesday

Keith and JB plan the three upcoming concerts while playing eighteen holes of golf. “Eighteen holes of pure bliss and communication… and a little meditation.”

Episode One / Introduction

Keith found five bands and scheduled performances for the first Thursday in Santa Ana, the second Thursday in Hollywood, and the third and final Thursday in Long Beach.
